When operating Billwise POS, the software processes certain transactional and operational data necessary to perform billing and business analytics:
Billwise POS is engineered with an offline-first foundation. All your orders, recipes, inventory records, and sales transactions are saved locally on your device storage in an encrypted database. Cloud synchronization occurs via secure TLS 1.3 encrypted sockets. We do not sell, rent, or monetize your store's sales records or customer contact data to third parties under any circumstances.
Billwise POS does not store or process raw unencrypted credit card numbers, CVVs, or cardholder magnetic stripe data on our servers. Integrated card terminals and third-party payment gateways comply with PCI-DSS Tier 1 standards directly.
You retain full ownership of your business data. At any time, merchants can export their entire transaction history, customer lists, inventory balances, and sales summaries into standard Excel (.xlsx) or CSV formats through the Billwise dashboard.
We may update this policy periodically to reflect software improvements, regulatory changes, or new platform features. Any modifications will be posted to this page with an updated revision date.
