User Agreement

Welcome to Billwise POS (operated via bill.show). By accessing or using our Point of Sale software, web application, parent recharge portal, or associated digital wallet features, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.

1. Platform Description & Scope

Billwise POS provides retail and educational point of sale (POS) solutions. For schools, colleges, and training institutes, Billwise POS offers a closed-loop digital wallet management system that enables parents/guardians to recharge funds online and allows students to purchase food, snacks, and stationery at on-campus canteens rapidly via RFID smart cards, Student ID barcodes, or Roll Numbers.

2. Student Wallet Operations

• Closed-Loop Wallet: Funds deposited into a student's wallet can solely be redeemed for goods and cafeteria services at authorized on-campus canteen counters affiliated with the student's registered institution. Canteen wallet funds cannot be transferred to external bank accounts or third-party entities.
• Parent Recharge: Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that the correct Student Roll Number / ID is verified before authorizing an online top-up.
• Card Security & Freeze Feature: If a student's physical RFID ID card or badge is lost or misplaced, the parent or student must notify the canteen administrator immediately to freeze/lock the digital wallet. Billwise POS and the institution are not liable for unauthorized purchases made prior to a reported freeze.
• Daily Limits: Institutional canteen administrators may configure optional daily spending limits on student wallets to encourage healthy budgeting.

3. Payment Terms & Processing

• All financial transactions are conducted strictly in Indian National Rupees (INR / ₹).
• Online wallet recharges are processed through RBI-authorized payment aggregator Razorpay Software Private Limited using UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), Debit/Credit Cards, or Net Banking.
• Upon successful payment confirmation by the payment gateway, the student's digital wallet balance is updated in real time.
• In case of network failures where funds are debited from the bank account but not reflected in the wallet, the transaction will either be automatically reconciled or refunded to the source account as detailed in our Refund Policy.

4. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Engage in fraudulent top-up attempts or exploit system vulnerabilities.
• Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or tamper with the POS software, client apps, or API endpoints.
• Impersonate another parent, student, or staff member.

5. Intellectual Property

All software code, database structures, UI designs, brand assets, trademarks, and documentation related to Billwise POS and bill.show are the exclusive property of Billwise POS. No rights or licenses are granted except as explicitly set forth in these Terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

Billwise POS provides the software and payment integration infrastructure on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Billwise POS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from downtime of third-party payment gateways, banking servers, or internet service disruptions.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to our services shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal action or proceeding shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Karur, Tamil Nadu, India.
